Kenneth Sherwood

As a member of the former Seattle Curling Club, Ken Sherwood competed three times in the Men’s Nationals, winning the championship in 1961.

Presently a member of the Granite Curling Club, he is honored both as a curler and builder. He served on the board of the USCA for nearly twenty years, first as a representative of Washington State Curling Association and later as a board-elected member. He was president in 1981 and during this term he helped develop financial control procedures and supported the development of women’s curling championships.

Ken was also a member of the American Curling Foundation & Museum from 1979 to 1993 serving as director and treasurer for eight years.
