Scott Baird

Scott Baird of Bemidji, Minn., has worked hard to excel as an elite athlete and coach since first stepping on the ice at the age of 10.

Baird skipped his team to the U.S. Men’s National Championship titles in 1979, 1993 and 1994, and advanced to the semifinals at the World Curling Championships in 1993. His coaching highlights include the Junior National Championships and the Junior World Curling Championships. He won the silver medal at the 2003 World Senior Championships and competed at the 2006 Olympic Winter Games winning bronze.

Baird’s dedication to curling has been evident at his home club in Bemidji nationwide as well as worldwide.
