On Apr. 12-16, 2023, Denver Curling Club will host the 2023 USA Curling Mixed National Championship.

Located in Golden, Colorado, the Denver Curling Club opened the doors of its current location in 2014 and is home to four sheets of dedicated curling ice.

“The Denver Curling Club is excited about hosting the Mixed National Championship because it will bring the top athletes to the great state of Colorado and offer the members of Denver Curling Club and the general public the ability to watch these athletes curl in person,” said Denver Curling Club President Nick Wellen.

The growing interest in curling following the 2006 Winter Olympic Games was the tipping point for exponential growth in the Denver curling community, and the Denver Curling Club has continued to focus on developing programming for all demographics.

“Denver has a long history for hosting great events,” added Wellen. “The reason I believe we do such a great job is because of all the fantastic volunteers at the Denver Curling Club, as well as the leadership of the events committee.”

With a fully accessible facility, Denver Curling Club’s dedication to creating opportunities for all makes it the perfect host site for the passionate and talented group of curlers that compete in the Mixed National Championship year after year.

The 2023 USA Curling Mixed National Championship will qualify a field of 12 total teams to compete for the National Championship title and the berth to represent the United States at the World Mixed Curling Championship 2023.

USA Curling is sponsored by Columbia Sportswear, Toyota, Twin Cities Orthopedics, Training HAUS, Brakebush, ISS (Ice, Sports & Solar), and Sitrin, and is partnered with IHG, Rock Solid Productions Inc., Laurie Artiss Ltd. – The Pin People.
