MEMBERS’ MEETING AND ASSEMBLY LOCATION, SCHEDULE OF EVENTS, DETAILS ON BYLAWS VOTE

[EAGAN, MN, September 12, 2023] – USA Curling is pleased to announce that the annual Members’ Assembly, scheduled for October 13-14, 2023, will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Bloomington, MN. All activity will be streamed and available through our YouTube channel, but USA Curling members are also welcome and encouraged to attend in-person. If you do plan to attend in-person, please register here. (There is no registration fee but knowing in-person attendance numbers will be helpful for planning purposes.)

Event Details

  • Members’ Meeting and Voting: Friday, October 13th, 7 PM CT, Hyatt Regency Bloomington

  • Members’ Assembly Programming: Saturday, October 14th, 10 AM-4 PM CT, Hyatt Regency Bloomington

The Annual Members’ Meeting will include a vote to ratify changes to the bylaws of the organization related to the proposed new USA Curling Membership Model. The amended bylaws, approved by the Board of Directors on September 11th, 2023, are posted below, along with a corresponding document that details the substantive differences with the current bylaws.

In addition, the Members’ Meeting will include voting on nominations for Regional Association representatives on the Board of Directors.

The Members’ Assembly programming includes seminars and panel discussions related to Member Club operations, outreach, retention, skills development, awards presentations, and more. The full schedule will be released shortly. Whether attending in person or virtually, the programming will be educational and provide an opportunity to network with others in our curling community. USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell will also provide an update on the organization.
