ATHLETES SELECTED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 2022 PARALYMPIC CURLING TEAM PRETRIAL SELECTIONS

(STEVENS POINT, Wis.) – A field of 12 individuals have been selected to compete at the 2022 Paralympic Curling Team PreTrial Selection event. Athletes who advance from this event will receive an invitation to the 2022 Paralympic Curling Team Selection Trials.

The PreTrials was scheduled for April 16 and 17 at the Denver Curling Club. Currently the event is postponed. Follow on scheduling and notifications will be made as soon as possible. From this event a minimum of five athletes will advance to the 2022 Paralympic Curling Team Selection Trials scheduled for May 28 and 29 at the Denver Curling Club.

The following 12 applicants have received invitations to the PreTrials: Laura Dwyer (Oconomowoc, WI), Lisa Maddox (Grovetown, GA), Elizabeth Ford (New York Mills, NY), Stacey Rice (Atlanta, GA), Terri Meadows (Concord, NC), Terry Vereline  (South Setauket, NY), Chuck Houle (Orange, VT), Dan Rose (Denver, CO), David Box (Charlotte, NC), Jeff Snover (Lake City, MI), Shawn Sadowski (Portage, WI) and Steve Kettenhoven (Clintonville, WI).

The eight current national team members include: Steve Emt (Hebron, CT), Matthew Thums (Weston, WI), David Samsa (Green Bay, WI), Meghan Lino (East Falmouth, MA), Pam Wilson Westminster, CO), Ken White (Sutton, MA), Batuyono Uranchimeg (Burnsville, MA) and Bobby Faircloth (Charlotte, NC).
