USA CURLING FOUNDATION
Through the USA Curling Foundation, donors can contribute to ongoing and long-term efforts vital to the sport in this country. Whether you want to be a part of success on the world stage, contribute to facility development and upgrades, make curling essential to the fabric of local communities, or provide operational support to the organization, your donations will grow the sport you love. When you choose one of the four pillars, your donation will be used only for those efforts.
Increase the funding devoted to Athlete Health & Wellness, Direct Athlete Support, and the National Team resources that help players succeed on the world stage. Our athletes are deeply committed, but other countries continue to provide more to their players. Unlike nearly every other nation, National Governing Bodies (NGB) in the United States receive no federal government support. We rely on private resources to help fund our elite-level competitors.
Help introduce curling to underrepresented populations, create locally-based programs, and develop curling as a school activity. True inclusivity demands programmatic outreach, and money is required to increase access and affordability for both groups and individuals. We believe curling can be a force for good, and inviting more people in our sport will benefit all who love this game.
Provide funding for immediate needs, including webcast coverage, valuable new staff positions, championship services, new member benefits and programs, and athlete health and safety efforts. When you support Operational Excellence, we can take advantage of strategic opportunities, manage rising costs, and deliver more for the curling community.
Support efforts to build more dedicated ice facilities across the country, offer low-interest loans to clubs for significant renovations or repairs, and break ground on a National Curling Center. Expanding the footprint of our sport makes it more accessible and is critical to the growth of the game. Goals include providing long-term, low-interest loans for clubs moving to dedicated ice or facing costly repairs, and building a curling center that can host events and become a destination for all members.
