2022 USA CURLING COLLEGE CHAMPIONSHIP

After two years of canceled championships due to the pandemic, the USA Curling College Championship is back.

This year’s Championship will take place at the Fargo-Moorhead Curling Club in Fargo, North Dakota, on March 11-13, 2022.

The USA Curling College Championship invites schools based on the most points accumulated on the USA Curling College Tour. The Tour visited several locations for point-earning bonspiels throughout the season, where school teams are allowed to vary rosters from event to event to maximize participation. Schools also competed head-to-head in Match Play events to earn points.

The Championship consists of 16 schools seeded into four groups of four and will open with round-robin within each group. At the conclusion of the round-robin portion of the Championship, the top 8 schools from the round-robin will advance to the single-elimination championship bracket.

Each school will be required to field four players for each championship game and can designate two alternates (rather than the usual one) to permit more individuals the opportunity to compete.

Based on 2021-22 USA Curling College Tour results, the following schools are invited to the 2022 USA Curling College Championship:

  • Bowdoin College

  • Cornell University

  • Hamilton College

  • Harvard University

  • University of Minnesota

  • Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
