FINAL THREE QUALIFICATION BONSPIELS FOR 2023 U.S. JUNIOR CURLING NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

The schedule is set for the Junior Qualifying Bonspiels that will award six women’s berths and six men’s berths to the 2023 U.S. Junior Curling National Championships, hosted by Broomstones Curling Club on April 3-8, 2023.
In addition to the previously announced location sites (Eau Claire, Broomstones, and Fargo-Moorhead Curling Clubs), USA Curling is pleased to announce the addition of the three final junior qualifying bonspiels to the 2022-23 event calendar.
The following bonspiels will serve as qualifying events for the 2022-23 U.S. Junior Curling National Championships:
1. Metropolis Open Junior Bonspiel presented by Dakota Curling Supplies
November 4-6, 2022
Eau Claire Curling Club - Eau Claire, Wisconsin
2. Broomstones Junior Bonspiel (Registration opens Aug. 19, 2022)
November 18-20, 2022
Broomstones Curling Club – Wayland, Massachusetts
3. Madison Junior Bonspiel (Registration opens Sept. 24, 2022 at 9am Central)
December 10-11, 2022
Madison Curling Club – McFarland, Wisconsin
4. Frank Podoll U21 National Qualifier (Registration opens Aug. 19, 2022)
January 6-8, 2023
Fargo-Moorhead Curling Club – Fargo, North Dakota
6. Four Seasons Junior Bonspiel (Registration opens Dec. 1, 2022)
March 10-12, 2023
Four Seasons Curling - Blaine, Minnesota
The six identified qualifying bonspiels will advance six teams in each field to the U.S. Junior Curling National Championships, and the two eight-team fields will be completed by selecting the top two eligible teams on the World Curling Federation’s World Team Rankings as of December 20th, 2022.
USA Curling is grateful to the host clubs of these six bonspiels and looks forward to this qualifying event format becoming part of a robust junior curling series in the United States.
Upon qualification, teams will be contacted directly with registration information for the 2023 U.S. Junior Curling National Championships.
