QUALIFICATION PROCEDURES 2023 MIXED (FOURS) NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

The 2023 U.S Mixed (Fours) National Championship will return to the USA Curling competition calendar in mid-April 2023 with exact dates and location to be announced.

The Championship will welcome a field of 12 total teams, with teams comprised of two male and two female competitors, to compete for the 2023 Mixed (Fours) National Championship title and berth to represent the United States and the 2023 World Mixed Curling Championship .

Twelve (12) mixed (fours) curling teams can earn berths to the 2023 Mixed (Fours) National Championship through the following ways:

  • One team from each of the following: At-Large, Alaska, Mid-America, Great Lakes, Midwest, Mountain Pacific, Dakota Territory, Pacific Northwest, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and GNCC (dependent upon outcome of Members’ Assembly vote on status of GNCC).

    • The qualification process will be determined by each region.

    • The At-Large playdown will be run by USA Curling. 

  • If additional berths are available, they will be awarded to the region or regions with the greatest number of playdown entries.

  • The host club will receive a berth for one team.

Regional playdown information and registration will be added to the USA Curling Championship event calendar as it becomes available.

Teams will be contacted directly with registration information upon qualification for the 2023 Mixed National Championship.
