Introduced to USA Curling in 2017, the U18 National Championships are a regional-based, geographic championship.

While the U18 National Championships do not advance to a world championship, they are aimed at developing junior curling by providing a competitive experience to determine the nation’s top teams (boys and girls) under the age of 18 (at any time during the 30th day of June of the year immediately preceding the year the competition is to take place).

Rock Creek Curling hosted another successful U18 Nationals, as 12 Girls teams and 12 Boys teams came to Lafayette, CO, to vie for the titles. After four days of outstanding competition, it was teams from the Wisconsin Curling Association and the Minnesota Curling Association that left as national champions.

Rock Creek Curling will once again host the USA Curling U-18 Boys & Girls Nationals, with 24 teams competing in Lafayette, CO, from January 8th through the 11th.

The U18 Boys and Girls National Championships are set to get underway this Thursday at Rock Creek Curling in Lafayette, CO. Twelve Girls teams and 12 Boys teams will compete to win this national championship for American curlers under the age of eighteen.
