On Oct. 31, Team USA will take the ice at the Pan Continental Curling Championships 2022 in Calgary, Alberta.

Team Peterson (Tabitha Peterson, Cory Christensen, Becca Hamilton, and Tara Peterson) and Team Dropkin (Korey Dropkin, Andrew Stopera, Mark Fenner, and Tom Howell) earned berths to represent the United States at the Pan Continental Curling Championships by being the highest-ranked teams on the World Curling Federation’s World Team Rankings as of Sept. 19, 2022.

The first ever Pan Continental Curling Championships will serve as a pathway for member associations (outside European nations) to earn berths to the upcoming World Men’s and Women’s Curling Championships 2023.

In the women’s field, Team Peterson will be facing eight curling countries, battling to place in the top five to earn the United States’ spot in the LGT World Women’s Curling Championship 2023 in Sandviken, Sweden.

In the men’s field, Team Dropkin will be facing seven curling countries while aiming to finish in fifth place or higher to secure an American berth to the OK Tire World Men’s Curling Championship 2023 in Ottawa, Canada.

Both teams representing USA Curling at the Pan Continental Curling Championships 2022 are returning to the world stage, as Team Peterson most recently represented the U.S. at the 2022 Olympic Games, and Team Dropkin represented the United States at the World Men’s Curling Championship 2022 in Las Vegas.

USA Curling is sponsored by Columbia Sportswear, Toyota, Twin Cities Orthopedics, Training HAUS, Brakebush, ISS (Ice, Sports & Solar), and Sitrin, and is partnered with IHG, Rock Solid Productions Inc., Laurie Artiss Ltd. – The Pin People.
