[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, May 14, 2025] — USA Curling is pleased to announce Las Vegas as the site of the 2025 Members’ Assembly and Members’ Meeting.
The national organization is partnering with CurlVegas, the dedicated ice facility that opened just over one year ago, to provide a terrific weekend of activities for the curling community.
The Members’ Meeting at The Orleans Hotel, the site of several World Curling championship events, will kick things off on Friday, September 19th. Members’ Assembly activity, including courses and certification opportunities, will run throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday morning—the full schedule of events will be announced shortly. On Saturday the 20th, USA Curling will also officially welcome former USA Curling Board Chair Rich Lepping into the Hall of Fame with an induction dinner at The Orleans.
What’s more, the weekend presents a great opportunity to curl or just socialize at the club—the Fabulous CurlVegas Bonspiel will run concurrently and registration is now open.
“We’re thrilled to bring the Members’ Assembly to this world-famous destination city,” noted USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell. “The weekend is a great opportunity to network with others in the curling community, celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of CurlVegas, compete in a bonspiel, and enjoy all that the city offers. We truly appreciate everything the CurlVegas team and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority have done to make this happen.”
Brad Whitlock, CurlVegas President, said, “We're delighted to be the host of the USA Curling Member's Assembly in the Entertainment Capital of the World—Las Vegas. It's the perfect setting for curlers to gather for business, education, and fun. Our bonspiel will be just one of the great activities for attendees—we're ready to show the curling community how we do the sport Vegas-style."
“Las Vegas is a city built for memorable moments, and we’re excited to welcome the curling community for a weekend that combines competition, connection, and celebration,” said Steve Hill, President and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. “With the addition of CurlVegas to our ever-expanding sports landscape, this is the perfect setting to host the Members’ Assembly and showcase what makes Las Vegas an extraordinary place to gather—on and off the ice.”
Bonspiel participants and Members’ Assembly attendees can take advantage of the very competitive room rate offered by The Orleans Hotel—rooms in this block can be booked here. A more detailed schedule of activities will be published in the coming weeks.
