[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, July 17, 2026]  USA Curling is pleased to announce the dates and locations of both U.S. Open national championship qualifiers.

While there are multiple pathways to earn berths in the 2027 Men’s & Women’s and the 2027 Mixed Doubles National Championships, U.S. Open events offer all teams an opportunity to qualify directly.

The U.S. Open Mixed Doubles Nationals Qualifier is scheduled for November 19-22, 2026, at Curl Mesabi in Eveleth, MN. Registration is open to USA Curling Competitor Members who meet all eligibility requirements. At this event, three berths in the 2027 Mixed Doubles Nationals, planned for late April, will be awarded.

The winners of the 2027 Mixed Doubles Nationals will represent the United States at the 2028 World Mixed Doubles Championship.

The U.S. Open Men’s & Women’s Nationals Qualifier is scheduled for December 16-20, 2026, at Glacial Ridge Curling in Willmar, MN. At this event, three berths for each gender in the 2027 Men’s & Women’s Nationals, scheduled for January 24-30 at the MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex in West Des Moines, IA, will be awarded.

The winning men’s and women’s teams at the Nationals in Iowa will represent the United States in the 2027 World Men’s Championships and the 2027 World Women’s Championship.
