2027 COLLEGE NATIONALS SLATED FOR WISCONSIN AND THE PORTAGE CURLING CLUB

[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, April 23, 2026] — USA Curling is pleased to announce the Portage Curling Club in Portage, WI, as the official host of the 2027 College National Championship.
Portage, a club with a long history of successful youth curling development, will welcome college curlers to the Midwest after the Schenectady Curling Club in New York hosted the 2026 Nationals.
The College Nationals are a collaboration between College Curling USA and USA Curling. College Curling USA works with Student Representatives from across the country to track the qualification process, and partners with USA Curling to deliver the championship.
“We are truly excited to bring this national championship to Portage, ” noted Event Chair and Portage Curling Club Board Member Amanda Kohn. “There is a strong college curling culture in our state, and many past champions have been from Wisconsin colleges.”
In 2027, the Nationals will run from March 11th through the 14th.
“We are grateful to the team at the Portage Curling Club for taking on this championship,” said USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell. “Not only does this event provide great competition, but college curling continues to bring young adults into our sport.”
Like the Five-and-Under Nationals, college curlers compete in qualifying events to earn a berth in the championship. More information related to registration and the qualifying events will be available in the weeks ahead from both USA College Curling and USA Curling.
