[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, AUGUST 7, 2025] — USA Curling has announced National Team rosters, along with Tier Three teams and Development Pool athletes across Men’s, Women’s, Wheelchair and Juniors.
The National Team roster is based on a collection of national and international results during the 2024-25 season, objective performance metrics, and team position on the World Curling Team Ranking System.
“As we head into this critical Olympic season, we need to give our top athletes as many resources as possible while still providing expertise to emerging players and teams,” said USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell. “Cortina is on the immediate horizon, but we are also planning for the years that follow.”
The teams in the 2025-26 National Team Program—Team Dropkin, Team Shuster, Team Casper, Team Peterson, Team Strouse—receive financial support from the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, coaching from USA Curling staff, and training programs through Training Haus in Eagan, MN.
Two Men’s teams—Team Wendling and Team Sinnett—achieved Tier Three status based on their position on the World Curling Team Ranking System at the end of the 2024-25 season. They receive access to Training Haus and sport psychology.
The Development Pool continues in 2025-26, providing individual players who completed an application process with access to Training Haus, and some assistance from national team staff as they plan their competitive seasons.
In addition, Team Johnson and Team Hebert will receive support from USA Curling following their wins at the 2025 USA Curling Junior Nationals. These teams are slated to represent the United States at the World Junior-B Championships in December, where they will compete to earn berths at the 2026 World Junior Championships in February. Following discussions among the teams, their coaches, and USA Curling staff, alternates were added to both lineups.
The Wheelchair National Team, chosen in May, includes Laura Dwyer, Steve Davis, Steve Emt, Sean O’Neill, Dan Rose, Shawn Sadowski, Matthew Thums, and Oyuna Uranchimeg. The final roster for the Paralympic Games will be announced later this season.
