CLUB NATIONAL TITLES GO TO CHASKA AND MADISON

[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, March 31, 2026] The 2026 Men’s & Women’s Club National Championships wrapped up this past weekend at the Chaska Curling Center, and it was teams from the Madison Curling Club and the host club taking home the titles.

On the women’s side, Nina Roth from Madison and the Wisconsin Curling Association led her team of Lynn Brown, Shalon Holbeck, Callie Maursetter, and Angela Montgomery to victory, defeating the young Berg team (Nia Berg, Ella Willford, Solveig Berg, Carol Chance) from the Bemidji Curling Club and the Minnesota Curling Association by a score of 8-2 in the final.

In the women’s bronze medal game, it was the San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club and Team Thangadurai (Subasthika Thangadurai, Claire Blaske, Abby Lin, Amy Verway-Cohen) from the Mountain & Pacific Curling Association earning the hardware with an 8-3 win over the Chicago Curling Club and Team Yaple (Haley Yaple, Sara Gaum, Kailey Meyer, Kerry Myers, Debbie Lange) from the Midwest Curling Association.

In men’s play, Team Caldwell (Brad Caldwell, Patrick Young, Erik Quistgaard, Chase Ebeling), representing the host club, faced the Coyotes Curling Club team (Sean Murray, Mike Siggins, Adam Endicott, Eric Kowal) from the Mountain & Pacific Curling Association in the final. It was Caldwell, on home ice, taking home gold with a 6-3 win in the championship game.

Men’s bronze went to the team from the Fairbanks Curling Club (Jon Johnson, David Hejna, Coleman Martin, Dylan Skaggs, Atticus Wallace), representing the Alaska Curling Association. They defeated the Saint Paul Curling Club (Chris Dolan, Dan Metcalf, Austin Harvey, Brian Unbehaun, Greg Jamieson) from the Minnesota Curling Association by a score of 6-4.

“Along with great play on the ice, this championship showcases Member Clubs and the connections that the club culture of our sport fosters,” noted USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell. “The staff and volunteers at the Chaska Curling Center also delivered a great experience for competitors, and we were thrilled to partner with them on this event.”

With the completion of Club Nationals, Regions Cup points are at stake for at one more event—the Mixed Fours Nationals at the Denver Curling Club from April 15th through the 19th. Official Regions Cup standings are available here—Minnesota, Mid-America, and the Dakota Territory lead the points race but much will depend on the results in Denver.
