On Mar. 21-26, 2022, Curl Mesabi in Eveleth, Minn., hosted the 2022 USA Curling Club National Championships.

The Championships welcomed ten men’s teams and ten women’s teams from across the country to form two respective fields.

Each field determined the 2022 USA Curling Club National Champion teams by completing a ten-team round robin before advancing four teams to the playoff division. In the playoffs, two semifinal games determined the teams that advanced to the gold medal game and the teams that would compete for bronze.

On the men’s side, the team representing the Coyotes Curling Club in Tempe, Arizona, proved to be victorious.

Despite losing the final game of the round robin, Mike Siggins, Adam Endicott, Travis Gaddie, Eric Kowal, and Sean Murray established a strong overall record throughout the week, qualifying for the playoff round of the tournament as the second seed with a 7-2 record.

In the semifinals, the Siggins-skipped rink faced the North Dakota-based team skipped by Benjamin Tucker.

Team Siggins scored three in the ninth end to take a five-point lead, resulting in an 11-6 final score and Team Siggins’ advancement to the gold medal game.

In the gold medal matchup, Team Siggins faced the Denver-based team skipped by Darryl Sobering who handed Team Siggins its second loss of the tournament in the final round robin matchup.

However, it was Team Siggins who came out firing in the championship final, defeating Team Sobering 9-3 and bringing the 2022 USA Curling Club Men’s National Championship title to the Coyotes Curling Club in Tempe, Arizona.
