USA CURLING CONTEST ANNOUNCED, FANS INVITED TO SUBMIT VIDEOS
[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, February 8, 2026] — USA Curling is excited to announce the launch of The Daily Curl, a contest that will award Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals for the best user-generated content about the sport.
“Whenever our sport is on television, Americans find themselves fascinated by curling, and that fandom is reflected in the attempts to portray the sport in their homes, their offices, or outdoors,” said USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell. “With The Daily Curl, we want to capture some of that spirit and embrace that sense of fun.”
To enter, shoot a video that is 30 seconds or less. If you don’t already, follow USA Curling on Instagram and Facebook. Post your video, tag USA Curling, and use #DailyCurlContest. For all the submission details, go to our website.
“Everyday objects are great, but we’ve seen all kinds of creativity in the past—hay bales, asphalt compactors, pets,” Gemmell continued. “Nothing that is dangerous to people or animals will be considered, but funny is always appreciated—curlers have a love of laughter.”
USA Curling will select finalists. Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded by a panel of judges that will include celebrities and athletes.
All contest rules and more information can be found here. The entry deadline is February 22nd, the last day of the 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
