FINAL BERTHS IN OLYMPIC TEAM TRIALS UP FOR GRABS THIS WEEKEND

[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, September 10, 2025] — The final berths in the Men’s and Women’s U.S. Olympic Team Trials will be determined this weekend in Charlotte, NC, and Chaska, MN. To qualify for the Pre-Trials, teams must be in the Top 100 in the World Curling Team Ranking System but not yet part of the Trials field.
At the Charlotte Curling Association in North Carolina, the following teams are competing for the final Men’s Trials berth:
Team Sinnett (Sam Strouse, Kevin Tuma, Chase Sinnett, Connor Kauffman, Coleman Thurston)
Team Dunnam (Scott Dunnam, Cody Clouser, Lance Wheeler, Andy Dunnam)
Team Wendling (Wes Wendling, Ethan Sampson, Jake Zeman, Marius Kleinas)
Team Hodek (Tim Hodek, Evan Workin, Josh Moore, Nathan Parry)
Team Hebert (Caden Hebert, Jackson Bestland, Benji Paral, Jack Wendtland)
At the Chaska Curling Center in Minnesota, the following teams are competing for the final Women’s Trials berth:
Team McMakin (Christine McMakin, Miranda Scheel, Sara Olson, Jenna Burchesky)
Team Johnson (Allory Johnson, Gianna Johnson, Morgan Zacher, Bailey Vaydich)
(Team Rhyme and Team Benson, while within the Top 100 at the conclusion of the 2024-25 season, declined their Pre-Trials berths.)

Tickets are now on sale for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Sioux Falls, SD, at the Sanford Premier Center from November 11-16, 2025. On the Men’s side, the following teams have already earned berths in the Trials:

Team Dropkin (Korey Dropkin, Tom Howell, Andrew Stopera, Mark Fenner)
Team Casper (Daniel Casper, Luc Violette, Ben Richardson, Aidan Oldenburg, Rich Ruohonen)
In the Women’s field, the following teams have already earned berths:
Team Peterson (Tabitha Peterson, Cory Thiesse, Tara Peterson, Taylor Anderson-Heide)
Team Strouse (Delaney Strouse, Anne O’Hara, Sydney Mullaney, Madison Bear)
Team Cousins (Elizabeth Cousins, Annmarie Dubberstein, Allison Howell, Liz Janiak)
