[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, May 11, 2026]  USA Curling is pleased to announce two more sites in its 2026-27 championship season.

The national organization will return to Rock Creek Curling in Lafayette, CO, for the 2027 U18 Boys’ and Girls’ Nationals Championships, while the 2027 USA Curling Mixed Fours Nationals will be at the Windy City Curling Club in Villa Park, IL. The U18 event will run from January 6th through January 10th, while Mixed Fours is scheduled for April 20th through April 25th.

“These championships, among the four in our season with a regionally-based playdown process, celebrate the competitive spirit while forging connections between curlers from across the country,” said USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell. “Rock Creek has created lasting memories for participants over the last four seasons, and we’re excited our youngest competitors will have an opportunity to return to this remarkable facility. The Denver Curling Club has been an amazing host of the Mixed Fours since 2023, but we’re excited to bring Windy City into our championship schedule. The club has overcome more than a few obstacles in recent years, and we are thrilled to put a spotlight on their determination and resilience.”

Rock Creek Curling will welcome the nation’s top athletes under the age of 18 to the 2027 championship, as it has each year since 2023. The championship is a key element in the USA Curling development pathway, and young competitors value qualifying for this event and getting to play at one of the premier facilities in the country.

“This championship is one of our favorite weeks of the season,” said Mimi Stevinson of Rock Creek Curling. “We love the enthusiasm of the young players, and we value the opportunity to provide a championship environment that helps these athletes compete, learn, and grow.”

The Mixed Fours Nationals, a twelve-team event with two pools of six, is one of the USA Curling championships that can be held in a three-sheet club. Windy City made the journey from curling on skating ice to opening its own dedicated ice facility in 2019.

Windy City President Amanda Pizarek said, “Our club is a testament to the strength of our curling community, illustrated by both our journey to dedicated ice and our recovery from fire damage. We look forward to welcoming competitors from the nationwide curling community and providing a memorable experience at the Mixed Fours Nationals.”

In both championships, teams will earn points towards the Regions Cup. This past season, Dakota Territory edged the Mid-America Curling Assocation by a single point, when Team Workin defeated Team Falco in an extra end in the final of the Mixed Fours Nationals.

In the coming months, more information about both the U18 Nationals and the Mixed Fours Nationals will be made available on the USA Curling Championships page.
