Millions of Americans fall in love with curling during the 2026 Olympic Games, and USA Curling teams also delivered historic performances on the ice.

After earning a silver in Mixed Doubles play, Team USA curlers will look to collect more hardware in the Men’s and Women’s competitions.

Cory Thiesse and Korey Dropkin ended just shy of the top of the podium in Olympic Mixed Doubles Curling, but they still made history for the sport and the country.

Thiesse has already made history—she will be the first female curler from the United States to win an Olympic medal.

Cory Thiesse and Korey Dropkin continue their impressive run at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, defeating the 2022 gold medalists from Italy in the semi-final. With that win, they advance to play for gold at 12 PM ET on Tuesday, February 10th.

Cory Thiesse (Duluth, MN) and Korey Dropkin (Southborough, MA) have made history, becoming the first American Mixed Doubles team to reach the medal round since the discipline became part of the Winter Olympics program in 2018.
