PARA TEAM SELECTION CAMP

[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, May 27, 2026]  USA Curling has scheduled the 2026–2027 Wheelchair Curling National Team Selection Camp, the primary pathway for athletes to earn a spot on Team USA, for August 28-30, 2026, at Rock Creek Curling in Lafayette, CO.

Up to 20 athletes will be invited to attend, including both returning national team members and new applicants. Interested athletes can request an application by contacting Pete Annis, Wheelchair Curling Director, at Pete.Annis@usacurling.org.

USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell noted, “As we look towards both the 2030 Paralympic Games and increasing overall participation in wheelchair curling, we are eager to attract more athletes to a Paralympic sport that captured national attention when our teams competed in Cortina. The Selection Camp is an opportunity for both our current players and those who bring experience from other sports.”

At the conclusion of the camp, eight athletes will be selected to the 2026–2027 National Team. These athletes will train and compete throughout the season, with the opportunity to be chosen to be Team USA at the 2027 World Championship.

Selection Camp Dates: August 28–30, 2026

Location: Rock Creek Curling, Lafayette, Colorado
