[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, September 24, 2025] Two teams will compete in the Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Curling Trials in November, and they will be determined at the 2025 Pre-Trials that get underway tomorrow at the Fort Wayne Curling Club in Fort Wayne, IN.

Eight of the nation’s top wheelchair curling duos will play a round-robin event to advance two teams that will face off in the Best-of-Three final in November. They will be part of a historic event—USA Curling will host its Paralympic and Olympic Team Trials for Men’s & Women’s Curling together in one location for the first time ever. The Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, SD, host both events from November 11-16, 2025. USA Curling will be the first National Governing Body to combine Olympic and Paralympic Trials, increasing visibility for all athletes.

“Not only are we excited to hold our Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Trials at the same time as the Team Trials, we’re looking forward to watching these athletes compete for the berths in Fort Wayne from September 25th through the 28th,” noted USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell. “The Fort Wayne Curling Club has been a great host for our Para athletes over the years, and we are grateful they stepped up to run this event.”

Teams competing in the Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Pre-Trials are:

Uranchimeg/Thums (Oyuna Uranchimeg, Matt Thums)
