REVIEW OF THE GNCC PROPOSAL FOR RETURNING TO THE NATIONAL ORGANIZATION
For the past year, USA Curling has consistently communicated its hope that the GNCC would return to the national organization as a Recognized Regional Association (RRA). We believe the curling community is stronger when it is united and working together.
OPEN LETTER TO USA CURLING COMMUNITY REGARDING MEMBERSHIP STATUS OF CLUBS WITHIN GNCC
USA Curling whole-heartedly understands the feelings of disappointment, frustration, and confusion circulating the removal of GNCC as a member region and seeks to help every club within the GNCC move forward in the way that best suits members.
USA CURLING BOARD OF DIRECTORS VOTED UNANIMOUSLY TO REMOVE GNCC AS MEMBER REGION
Due to lack of membership compliance, the USA Curling’s Board of Directors voted unanimously to remove GNCC as a member region. Curling Clubs within the region will have options to maintain USA Curling membership.
VOTING OPENS FOR USA CURLING ATHLETES’ ADVISORY COUNCIL
Eligible athletes can vote between now and July 15, 2022, for the USA Curling Athletes’ Advisory Council (AAC).
POSITIONS OPEN ON USA CURLING ATHLETES’ ADVISORY COUNCIL
The Athletes’ Advisory Council (AAC) is looking for interested individuals to join AAC and USA Curling Committees. Self-nominations for USA Curling’s AAC will be open through May 31, 2022.
