[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, March 12, 2026] — USA Curling is proud to open the 2026 Junior Mixed Doubles National Championship, hosted this year by the Cape Cod Curling Club in Falmouth, MA. The championship brings together the nation’s top junior mixed doubles teams for a weekend of high‑level competition in the Olympic discipline that was enjoyed by many during the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympic Games.
The event begins today and runs through the weekend, bringing together elite athletes under the age of 21 from across the country. Twelve teams will compete not only for the chance to claim a national title, but the opportunity to represent the United States on the international stage at the 2026 World Junior Mixed Doubles Championship, slated for May 5-10 in Edmonton, AB, Canada.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Cape Cod Curling Club on this year’s Junior Mixed Doubles Nationals,” said USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell. “The club’s history, hospitality, and reputation for first-class playing conditions make it an ideal venue for showcasing the next generation of American curling talent.”
Cape Cod is hosting the event for the first time. Round‑robin qualifying play will begin on Thursday. Six teams will qualify for the playoffs that will start on Saturday at 7 PM. Semi-finals and finals will be on Sunday at 9 AM and 2 PM. Spectators are welcome, and games will also be streamed on the Cape Cod Curling Club YouTube channel.
Full event details can be found on the USA Curling Junior Mixed Doubles National Championship page.
