[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, March 14, 2026]  Team Strouse (Delaney Strouse, Anne O’Hara, Sydney Mullaney, Madison Bear) will make their first appearance at a World Women’s Championship, representing the United States at the 2026 BKT World Women’s Curling Championship at the WinSport Event Centre in Calgary, Canada. The event starts today and runs through March 22nd.

Olympian Taylor Anderson-Heide joins the team for this event as the Alternate, while Cathy Overton-Clapham and Mark Lazar will handle coaching duties.

Team Strouse earned its place on the world stage after capturing the USA Curling Women’s National Championship in Charlotte, NC, on March 1st, with a win in the final against Team Cousins, the silver medalists at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials this past November.

“While their win in Charlotte was their first women’s national title, Team Strouse has been working hard to reach this moment, and they have international experience at both the World Junior Championships and the World University Games,” said USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell. “They earned this opportunity, and we’re excited to see them compete in Calgary.”

Thirteen nations will vie for the world title at the Winsport Event Centre, with the top six finishers qualifying for the playoffs after the full round-robin is complete. Strouse and her teammates will open with a Saturday night game against Canada, represented at this event by Team Einarson.

This year’s championship features an exciting field, with several countries represented by rising young talent. Some nations will be represented by teams that competed at the 2026 Olympic Games in Cortina, while others feature new faces. In addition to Canada, the Americans will be tested by strong lineups from Switzerland, Japan, Sweden, China, and Italy.

The entire event will be available to American viewers through World Curling on The Curling Channel. For more information, including schedules, standings, and statistics, visit the event page on the World Curling website.
