[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, April 14, 2026] —The 2026 Mixed Fours Nationals return to Golden, CO, and the Denver Curling Club, with a lineup of past champions and newcomers vying for the chance to represent the United States at the next World Mixed Championship.
What’s more, this event serves as the final points opportunity in the race for the Regions Cup trophy, awarded to the Recognized Regional Association (RRA) has the best season-performance across the four national championships that feature the regional playdown process—Arena Club Nationals, U18 Nationals, Club Nationals, and Mixed Fours Nationals.
Teams have advanced to this event through playdowns run by an RRA of USA Curling. Each region receives one berth, with an additional berth awarded to the region with the greatest number of playdown entries. This year, that berth went to the Wisconsin Curling Association.
There is no shortage of elite level in the field in Denver. Team Falco from Denver returns, looking for their third straight Mixed Fours Nationals title. They’ll be challenged by two-time Olympian Nina Roth and her Wisconsin team, along with Olympian Courtney Benson from Minnesota. Former Mixed Fours National champion Team Workin will be in the hunt, along with a team by Andy Dunnam. Dunnam and Workin competed in the 2026 Men’s National Championships this past February.
“In many ways, Mixed Fours Nationals celebrates the best parts of curling—intense competition, socializing, and an opportunity to meet people from all across the country,” noted USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell. “It’s also worth noting that three teams in the competition are led by women at the skip position, and that’s an exciting development.”
Play gets underway at 2:30 PM MT on Wednesday. Teams are split into two pools of six, with the top three in each pool advancing to the playoff round. The first place teams in each pool will advance directly to the semi-finals, with the other teams playing an initial qualifying round. Semi-finals will take place at 7 PM MT on Saturday evening, with gold and bronze medal games wrapping up the event at 10 AM on Sunday morning.
Gemmell added, “We always enjoy being in Denver for this event, and it brings us closer to the original home of Dale’s, the official beer of USA Curling.”
Games will be streamed on the Denver Curling Club YouTube channel, while scores, DSC results, team lineups, and the draw schedule can be found here on the USA Curling website.
